A Wonderful Origami Experience in Kyoto!

2025.10.24
category information

Yesterday, a lovely woman visiting from Chile joined us at AriHana Kyoto for an origami experience during her Kyoto sightseeing. It was her first time trying origami, but she carefully folded each piece and created many beautiful works of art.
To finish, she tried kirigami (Japanese paper cutting) and made a stunning design, which she turned into a message card and kindly gave to me as a gift. It truly made my day!

AriHana Kyoto is a Japanese traditional play and culture experience space located near Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sanjusangendo Temple. Here, visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on activities such as origami, kendama, and Japanese calligraphy (shodo) — a relaxing and creative way to learn about traditional Japanese culture.

As the weather gets cooler, it’s the perfect time to relax indoors and enjoy a fun Kyoto cultural experience with your family and friends.
