Yesterday, we welcomed a lovely family from Croatia to AriHana Kyoto, our indoor playground and cultural activity space in Kyoto. They had a fun and memorable time experiencing Japanese calligraphy by writing their names in kanji on traditional uchiwa fans. Each family member created their own original fan—one of a kind and full of personal meaning!
The youngest guest, a curious 4-year-old boy, was especially fascinated by our Japanese picture books. He enjoyed pointing at the colorful illustrations of daruma dolls and exploring the world of Japanese stories.
