Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful family from Texas. They had just arrived in Japan and were excited about their very first trip to Kyoto. The parents tried their hand at traditional origami, while their 4-year-old daughter was curious and eager to explore, asking, “How do you play this?” as she engaged in various fun activities. Meanwhile, the 3-year-old son was completely captivated by our ninja game, playing over and over with great joy. The children’s laughter was infectious, and they were absolutely adorable.
We sincerely thank the family for visiting AriHana Kyoto!
AriHana Kyoto is an indoor play area located near the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, on the picturesque Gojo-zaka street in Kyoto. Originally opened as a children’s play space, it has now become a popular destination for families visiting Kyoto, offering a great mix of fun and cultural experiences. As the weather warms up, we invite families planning a spring trip to Kyoto to stop by and enjoy all that AriHana Kyoto has to offer.
Here, you can experience traditional Japanese culture through fun activities like origami and kendama (traditional Japanese juggling toy). It’s the perfect place for children to explore Japan’s rich culture in a playful and engaging way. Whether you’re looking to try your hand at toy-making or simply want to experience the authentic atmosphere of Japan, we promise you’ll leave with lasting memories.
