We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely family from Israel to AriHana Kyoto! Dressed in traditional kimono, the family of three enjoyed a variety of fun and educational Japanese cultural experiences, including origami, traditional games, and calligraphy on decorative uchiwa fans.
Both children carefully practiced writing beautiful kanji characters, creating unique, hand-designed fans they took home as special souvenirs. The family enjoyed the activities with constant smiles—making memories to last a lifetime.
At AriHana Kyoto, we offer hands-on cultural experiences in Kyoto that are perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking to dive deeper into traditional Japanese culture. From classic toys and craft-making to calligraphyand more, there’s something for everyone—kids and adults alike!
We’re located indoors, so it’s a great option for a rainy day in Kyoto or a relaxing break during your sightseeing. No reservation is required—just stop by and enjoy a truly Japanese experience during your visit to Kyoto this autumn!
