Yesterday, a lovely family from England visited us at AriHana Kyoto, our indoor play space located near the famous Kiyomizu Temple in the Gojōzaka area of Kyoto. Their 3-year-old son is a big fan of ninjas and samurai, and he was so excited to explore Japanese culture during their trip to Japan.
When he said, “I want a shuriken (ninja star)!” we folded one together using origami. It was his first time trying origami, and he had a blast. His mother joined in too, and it was heartwarming to see the whole family enjoying this traditional Japanese activity together.
AriHana Kyoto is a popular indoor playground in Kyoto for kids and families. Whether you’re visiting Kyoto on a rainy day, looking for things to do in Kyoto with kids, or want to try a hands-on Japanese cultural experience, our space offers a fun and memorable time for all ages. Even adults who want to learn origami or experience the nostalgic charm of Japan will enjoy their time here.
No reservations are needed. If you’re exploring Kyoto with children, come visit AriHana Kyoto for a unique and family-friendly cultural adventure!
