We recently had a lovely parent-child pair visit us all the way from California! At first, their 2-year-old daughter was a little shy and hesitant to come inside, but once she discovered all the fun toys waiting for her, she smiled brightly, took off her shoes, and happily joined us in the playroom. Her laughter was absolutely adorable and brought a warm, healing atmosphere to our space.
Not only did the little one enjoy herself, but her mother also had a great time trying out traditional Japanese activities like kendama (a traditional cup-and-ball game) and origami. It was a joy to see both of them engage in cultural play together.
AriHana Kyoto is an indoor playground and cultural activity space located near Kiyomizu Temple, right by Gojozaka. We offer a cozy and welcoming environment for families visiting Kyoto with children. Whether you’re looking for a fun activity for your kids, a chance to experience Japanese culture, or just a place to relax on a rainy day, AriHana Kyoto is the perfect stop during your sightseeing adventure.
No reservation is needed—just drop in and create beautiful memories of your Kyoto with kids journey!
