We recently had the pleasure of welcoming many families to AriHana Kyoto, and both the first and second floors were full of happy smiles! Each family enjoyed spending quality time at their own pace, exploring a variety of traditional Japanese games.
Origami was the most popular activity, but many children also said, “Teach us more games!” — and enjoyed learning about other fun Japanese cultural experiences.
AriHana Kyoto is a unique indoor play space near Kiyomizu Temple, where parents and children can experience traditional Japanese play while wearing simple kimono-style outfits. It’s an authentic and hands-on cultural activity you won’t find anywhere else.
We also offer a calligraphy experience, where you can write your name in Japanese kanji on a traditional fan (uchiwa) and take it home as a special souvenir.
