At AriHana Kyoto, located near Kiyomizu-dera on Gojo-zaka, we have beautifully displayed Hina Dolls made from origami for the Hina Matsuri festival. There are many ways to fold these dolls, and ours are simple enough for anyone to create! We invite you to enjoy origami and other traditional Japanese toys in our indoor play area. Our Hina Dolls will be on display until March 3rd, so don’t miss the chance to see them!
If you’re looking for a kid-friendly activity in Kyoto, AriHana Kyoto is the perfect spot. With the cold weather making outdoor sightseeing challenging, why not take the opportunity to explore Japanese culture through play? We offer a variety of traditional toys, including kendama and origami, that both kids and adults will love. It’s the perfect family-friendly location for fun and cultural learning.
In addition to playing with toys, you can also experience hands-on workshops where you can make your own kendama, daruma otoshi (a traditional Japanese game), paper fans, and kaleidoscopes—creating lasting memories of your visit to Kyoto!
No reservations are required, so feel free to drop by anytime for a relaxing, easy-going experience. If you’re visiting Kyoto with your family, make sure to visit AriHana Kyoto for a unique and enjoyable family activity!
