On Monday the 14th, AriHana Kyoto had the pleasure of joining a cultural event at Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo-Karasuma. Many guests staying at the hotel enjoyed discovering Japanese traditional toys and trying out classic Japanese games.
The most popular activity of the day was making original Japanese uchiwa fans. Guests loved not only drawing with colorful pens but also writing kanji with Japanese calligraphy brushes. It was a unique and memorable experience for all ages!
At AriHana Kyoto, located near Kiyomizu Temple on Gojozaka, you can enjoy a hands-on experience of Japanese traditional play. Try kendama, origami, and many more classic toys. It’s the perfect Kyoto activity with kids, especially on rainy days or during a break from sightseeing.
We also offer uchiwa fan making with calligraphy, a fun and cultural craft experience for both children and adults.
