The 2-year-old girl loved Japanese picture books and happily read several during her visit. Her absolute favorite was the popular “Daruma-san” series, and she was delighted as she repeated “Daruma-san ga…” with a big smile.
The 5-year-old girl was very good at origami and enjoyed making beautiful creations. She also tried many traditional Japanese toys, and there was hardly enough time to experience everything! It was wonderful to see her having so much fun together with her father.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome a lovely family visiting from London to AriHana Kyoto!

Yesterday, we were happy to welcome many guests from Los Angeles and New York to AriHana Kyoto. A 3-year-old boy especially loved playing with a traditional paper balloon (origami toy) made by his father and enjoyed it with a big smile. He was also very enthusiastic about our Japanese fan (uchiwa) craft activity, creating a wonderful piece with his own drawings.
Another group visiting as two families enjoyed a hands-on origami experience, followed by traditional Japanese games such as kendama and daruma otoshi. Everyone joined in, and the space was filled with laughter and excitement.
