We recently had a lovely family visiting from Germany spend time with us at AriHana Kyoto! Their 7-year-old son absolutely loves origami and ninjas—so it was the perfect match 😊
We started with origami, creating a variety of fun pieces together. When he completed shiny silver and gold shuriken (ninja stars), he was thrilled! Using his handmade creations, he jumped right into an exciting ninja game. He even challenged himself to fold a ninja figure—no problem, even though it was a bit tricky♪
With his original ninja and shuriken, he played enthusiastically, and his mother also shared how much she enjoyed the experience, calling it “a truly fun place.” We’re so happy that their time at AriHana Kyoto became a special memory of Kyoto.
AriHana Kyoto is an indoor play space near Kiyomizu-dera Temple where families can enjoy authentic Japanese cultural experiences together. Through traditional Japanese games and activities, children and adults alike can learn about Japanese culture in a fun, hands-on way.
