Yesterday, we welcomed a lovely 4-year-old girl and her family visiting from the United States. They had an amazing time at AriHana Kyoto—laughing out loud while playing our original ninja game, and folding origami again and again to create their own beautiful designs.
Afterwards, they joined our traditional uchiwa (Japanese fan) craft activity. The mother even tried Japanese calligraphy for the first time, writing her daughter’s name in kanji—she did a wonderful job! Both mother and daughter created fantastic, one-of-a-kind pieces and truly enjoyed the atmosphere of Japanese culture.
