Although our guest initially said she wasn’t confident in folding paper, she carefully followed each step and completed many beautiful works of art. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful family from Portugal to AriHana Kyoto, our indoor cultural playground designed for parents and children to enjoy Japanese traditions together.
Their 2-year-old daughter was a bit shy at first, but once she got used to Amy, she was all smiles and full of conversation. She especially enjoyed drawing and playing with our hiragana letter blocks. Her mother loved the classic Daruma Otoshi game and couldn’t stop challenging herself—it was a joy to watch!
