Yesterday, we had a wonderful family from New York visit AriHana Kyoto! It was their first time trying traditional Japanese activities, and they truly enjoyed every moment. From learning origami together as a family to playing classic Japanese games, even the parents were fully engaged and curious.

Yesterday, we welcomed a lovely family from Indonesia to AriHana Kyoto, our indoor cultural play space located near Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sanjusangendo in Kyoto.
Their two boys were full of curiosity and had a great time folding origami—especially shuriken (ninja stars) and other fun shapes. The whole family also enjoyed playing with kendama and daruma otoshi, and they even made their own traditional uchiwa fans to take home!
