Celebrate the Spirit of Setsubun at AriHana Kyoto!

2026.02.02
category staff blog

February is here, and tomorrow marks Setsubun, a traditional Japanese event celebrated with the ritual of bean-throwing to drive away evil spirits and invite good fortune. At AriHana Kyoto, we also hope to welcome plenty of happiness and guests into our space!

Located near Kiyomizu-dera and Sanjusangendo, AriHana Kyoto is an indoor activity center where families can experience the beauty of Japanese culture. From origami and calligraphy to other traditional Japanese games, you and your children can enjoy hands-on cultural experiences together.

Run by former childcare professionals, our facility ensures a safe and comfortable environment for families with young children. Whether you’re looking for a fun children’s play area, engaging kids’ activities, or a place to experience Japanese culture, AriHana Kyoto is the perfect spot for family-friendly Kyoto sightseeing—rain or shine!

No reservations are required, but you can always make a booking in advance if you prefer. We look forward to seeing you and your family!
